A CONVERSATION WITH BARBARA ACQUAH

Happy Sunday Miladies and Gentlemen! I have had one of the loveliest weekends reconnecting with old friends, visiting a greenhouse, wine tasting, being gifted with one of my favourite teas and celebrating my best friend’s milestone. I hope yours has been beautiful too, or at least you can pin points moments to be grateful for. Today, I am excited to share a bit of The Barbara Acquah with you. Frankly, the more I interview women like her, the more my love and admiration for fabulous women appreciates! Chai, I don’t know how ya’ll do it! #respect

Barbara Acquah is from New Edubiase in the Adansi South District of Ghana. She is a teacher by profession at Atobiase D/A Basic School in the Adansi South District. Barbara is also the CEO of Banayes Schools – a pre and primary school that caters for children from three months old to eight years old.

Further, she is the face behind B-Buttons, a beaded accessories online shop online and April Modista which also caters for everything headpiece. Finally, she is The Baker (Your Sexy Baker) at Loaf Loverz which also caters for all kinds of healthy breads and pastries. Barbara likes to read, listen to good music and write.

Now, although she is obviously a woman of many hats, this interview centered around her passion to support others. You know, as I reflect on the conversation I realise another thing: a lot of teachers are really just doing the best they can with very very little resources. In fact, they are literally performing magic! May we support and show them more kindness. Amen!

Barbara also shared about her upcoming project to commemorate Menstrual Hygiene Day at Atobiase. Please listen to the beautiful interview with The Barbara Acquah and reach out to her on +233 24 274 4894.

Until I come your way again next week, keep on being fabulous!
